ABOUT ~

Nassima Rothacker is a London-based photographer and director with a creative focus on food, interiors, lifestyle, and people.

Since completing a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography at RMIT University in her hometown of Melbourne in 2008, she has spent the past decade and a half working across Australia, Europe, and the UK, shooting for the world’s leading editorial, commercial, and publishing clients.

Nassima’s photography has been featured in international magazines, publications, and campaigns worldwide. She has worked with clients such as Sanpellegrino, Frangelico, Baileys, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose & Partners, Donna Hay, Jamie Magazine, Gourmet Traveller, Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveller, Lonely Planet, National Geographic and The Guardian.

Her portfolio also spans international projects for renowned hotels and luxury resorts as well as a wide range of cookbooks created in collaboration with celebrated authors such as Chetna Makan, John Whaite, John Gregory-Smith, Chantelle Nicholson, Annie Rigg, Darina Allen, Deliciously Ella, Annie Bell, and many others.

An intuitive style of shooting is Nassima’s trademark, as she brings lifestyle elegance to advertising and makes everyday moments exceptionally beautiful, whether on commercial assignment or for her personal fine art projects. Nassima’s work captures a sense of grace and elegance. With an insight to refined colour palettes, delicate lighting and thoughtful compositions, she brings to her work a poetic sensitivity and a passion for creating evocative and aspirational imagery.
